TAG Heuer CEO Jean-Christophe Babin gave us some

International Watch was in San fran over the weekend to take in the latest installment of the America’s Cup World Series. Case was a huge success for the shielding winners, the TAG Heuer-sponsored Oracle team, who won the match race and navy race competitive events.

During the weekend, TAG Heuer CEO Jean-Christophe Babin gave us some hands-on time regarding his firm’s latest concept watch, the MikrotourbillonS, which we first showed you back in 03 during Basel World.

As you may remember, the watch combines two independent tourbillon escapements, one for timekeeping purposes running at a conventional 4 Hz and another, shoved up to the super high speed of 50 Hz, to run the chronograph

Babin told International Watch that this year his company will manufacture between 15 and 20 units of the timepiece, with a price tag of approximately $250, 000. Check out the video to see this phenomenal concept watch doing his thing.
